Hey-Liberis Duo

In 2017, two classically trained musicians with broad musical interests and a variety of work in New York City’s musical circles, Michael Hey and Christiana Liberis, embarked on a partnership to bring a fresh approach to the organ and violin repertoire and to create vastly different styles and genres of music for these remarkably flexible instruments. Described as “scintillating” and “tremendously virtuosic” (The Straits Times, Singapore), Michael enjoys a varied career that includes collaborations with other musicians, solo piano recitals, solo organ recitals, and transcription. Born in Italy of Italian, Greek, and Polish heritage, Christiana is a remarkably versatile artist who enjoys a career that extends from performing classical music to working on television sets to sharing the stage with rock stars for sold out audiences. The duo’s programs dazzle and delight.
